Help Our Cause
There are many ways you can get involved with Bee KC. If you’d like to learn more about beekeeping and related issues, we offer workshops and classes as well as volunteer opportunities that allow you to get valuable experience working hives, extracting honey, rendering wax and more. Our instagram (@beekcmo) is a great place to stay up to date.
To help sustain our organization, anyone can donate any amount. Organizations or individuals can sponsor hives or entire bee yards, and donors receive invitations to all events and perks like honey, candles and more!
Urban gardens and farms, restaurants, developers and others can place hives and native bee houses on their property—Bee KC will install and maintain hives, and do community outreach, while the partner receives honey, pollination benefits, tax incentives and more.
